Jackfruit potato curry











Ingredients: 

2 Cups Raw Jackfruit cubes 
1 Cup Potatoes cubes
2 Chopped Tomatos
2 Sliced Onions   
1 Star anise
1 Bay Leaf
1 Green Cardamom 
½" Cinnamon Stick 
2 Clove
1 tsp Curry Powder
1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder 
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
½ Cup Hung curd
1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
1 tsp Garam masala powder
Salt to taste
Mustard oil


Preparations :

Add all jackfruit in pressure cooker along  with salt and turmeric. Cook till 2 whistles remove drain and Keep aside.

Heat oil in a kadhai and fry potatoes till slightly different in colour remove in a dry plate. Fry boiled jackfruits on high flame till little harder. Remove on a plate.

On same kadhai add some  more oil for tempering the whole spices. Fry till the aroma comes add the onions along with a pinch of salt  fry till brown.

Add tomatoes fry little bit, add ginger garlic paste and fry for a few minutes add all spice powder fry till oil separates then add  whisked hung curd. Fry till the masalas blend uniformly and oil separates from kadhai. If need sprinkle some water occasionally to avoid burning.

Add the boiled jackfruit pieces and potatoes into the masala. Cook and fry on low flame till the jackfruit and potatoes are well cooked. Adjust water cook few more times till the curry thickens.

Sprinkle Garam masala powder cover the lid. Stir when you start serving.

Serve with rice,roti,naan, Chapattis or parathas.

CRISPY BITTER GOURDS

Ingredients: 3 Bitter Gourds ½ Cup Gram flour 4 tbsp Fine Rice flour 1 tsp Ginger /Garlic paste 1 tsp Garam masala powder 1 tsp Red chilly powder Oil to deep fry Salt to taste Presentations: Wash the bitter gourd , trim the top and tail and then cut the bitter gourd as round in shape like rings. Sattu puri

 Ingredients..... For dough 1 cp whole wheat atta Ghee 1 tbsp Salt Water For stuffing... Sattu powder 1 cup Ghee 1 tbsp Preparations.... Puri dough .. Take whole wheat flour in a bowl add salt, ghee mix it then gradually add water and knead to stiff dough. Cover and rest for a while. Sattu balls....  Take sweet sattu in a bowl add ghee, mix it well. Add little water if required. Divide dough into small  balls.  Take wheat dough on your palm make a bowl of it stuff the sattu ball and gather the edges and seal properly. Roll it as roti cut into triangular shape. Keep all puries on dry clothes.  Deep-fry the puris until they turn golden brown and crispy.
